Vanguard Parents and Guardians:
We are excited to invite you to come and meet with your student’s teachers for Fall Learning Conferences next week! This is a great opportunity to meet your student's teachers, discuss learning progress, attendance, instructional questions or any other topic related to school and your student that you are interested in knowing.
In addition, we’re thrilled to share that Vanguard Academy will be hosting a College & Career Fair on Thursday, November 6, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the gym. Students will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from colleges, universities, and local organizations to explore post-high school options.Conference Schedule:
Wednesday, November 5
12:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Drop in or by appointment Thursday, November 6
12:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Drop in – Arena Style in the Marketplace
4:00 pm - 7:00 pm: Drop in – Arena Style in the Marketplace
On Thursday, teachers will be set up in the Marketplace/Cafeteria where you can walk around and visit with each of your student’s teachers. Grades for all students and classes will be updated by Tuesday, November 4.
Whether your student is excelling or could use a little extra support, we would love to connect with you and work together for their success.
Early Release Schedule:
Vanguard Academy will be on a 3.5-hour early release schedule Tuesday through Friday (November 4–7) for conferences. Please plan accordingly for transportation and after-school arrangements.
* Translation Services will be available.
* There will be no conference times available on Friday
If you are unable to attend in person but would like to speak with your student’s teachers, please reach out by phone or email—they will be happy to arrange a time to connect.
And don’t forget — Election Day is Tuesday, November 4! Remember to vote! 🗳️
